The Politics Society is incredibly excited to announce our upcoming Edinburgh Trip!Here’s everything you need to know about the trip, ahead of our booking form release on the 15th of January

Trip dates: 19th-21st of February (Reading Week)

❗️You’ll need to be 18+ to join the trip

❗️You’ll need to be a member to join the trip - we recommend buying your membership in advance, so that you can focus on filling in the trip form once it’s opened (you can buy your membership on the KCLSU website, through our Linktree or our stories)

❗️Max. 1 booking per person

⭐️ Trip cost: £150 (Please bear in mind that this cost is non-refundable!)

⭐️Trip price includes: Train travel and 2 nights in shared rooms in Edinburgh city centre hostel

⭐️: What you can expect from our itinerary: Visit the Scottish Parliament, talks from MSPs and experts, visits to Edinburgh landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, and plenty of social events!

☝️Our ticket booking form will open on the 15th of January, and will stay open until 23:59 on the 16th of January. Feel free to complete this booking form at any point during this timeframe, as tickets will be randomly allocated.

Please note that filling in the form does not guarantee that you will receive a ticket. We will randomly select 30 individuals, and everyone will be informed of the selection on the 17th January.

If you are selected you will receive a private link to buy your ticket as well as a form to complete before the 20th January (which will include a scan of your passport, names, emergency contact, any special requirements,etc). We will send a final confirmation email once the process is done.(💡Please note that the ticket price does not include lunch, dinner, personal expenses, public transport costs nor entry to excursion not included in the itinerary. Please keep that in mind when working out your budget for this trip, and set aside between £50-£100 to cover these various costs.)
